Growing up in Ottawa, Canada made it easy for me to fall in love with Photography. It’s a city that’s rich with culture and when spending time at the National Gallery of Canada, I was always drawn in to the Photography exhibits. From a very young age I was conscious of the composition of my photographs and their light sources. As a Photography student at Algonquin College I have been able to further develop that skill and learn the technical side of Photography.
In my early teens I developed a love for music and spent a lot of time going to concerts. I always paid special attention to the Photographers and would take a lot of pictures myself and spend hours looking over them and selecting the Best shots. I found myself liking the close-up shots the most and when I was introduced to portraiture through my school program I knew I had found my passion.
